Surprise! Girl being prepared for Chemotherapy, Gets Well Without it.What She Took Will Shock You

A two-year-old girl who has been misdiagnosed as having a brain tumor and was set for chemotherapy has returned to her normal self after treatment with vitamin B2.

Kristen and Clayton Greene took their daughter Cara Greene to the hospital after realizing that her eyes were moving abnormally and she was becoming weaker. They got terrified when she lost the use of most of her muscles.

After trials by the doctors to find out what was exactly wrong with Cara, she was tested for a brain tumor and was approved to start chemotherapy for a presumed autoimmune disorder.

Dr. Vandana Shashi, a geneticist from Duke University and her team of researchers decided to help the little girl before the treatment would start to prevent her from the coming months of agony that she will face through chemotherapy.

After three weeks the cause of Cara’s loss of control for her eyes and muscles was found to be a genetic mutation that was rare which was why it could not be diagnosed easily. The geneticist was glad to give her parents the results and that she would be fine as treatment has been found for her case.

Cara was diagnosed with Brown Vialetto Van Laere Syndrome (BVVL). The genetic mutation made her body unable to process vitamin B2 normally, so the treatment consisted of very high doses of Vitamin B2 which she has to take for the rest of her life.

After giving her some doses of the vitamin, she became her normal usual and happy girl again.
