Suspended Lawmaker Abdulmumin Jibrin welcomes new Baby
The suspended lawmaker from Kano, Abdulmumin Jibrin, who was suspended for the unfolding budget padding scandal has welcomed a new baby into his family.
Jibrin wrote on his Instagram timeline.
Abdulabmj We welcome to the world with so much joy baby Fauzia. May Allah SWT grant her and her worthy mother, Maryam His blessings, amin Ya Rabbi. Well, 9months is no joke. We can never be able to pay back our wives and mothers for that delicate and extremely tough 9 months journey.
The lawmaker’s suspension was said to last for 180 legislative days coming with sanctions that barred him from holding any position of responsibility in the House for the rest of the eighth National Assembly.
