The suicide attack on a mosque in Mubi, Adamawa State which left no fewer than 50 people dead and several others injured has raised concern for the United States of America as they have vowed to partner with Nigeria to end terrorist attacks.
Making this known in a statement, Ms Heather Nauert, the spokesperson of U.S Department of State, described the blast as a terrorist attack.
In a show of solidarity, the U.S expressed its heartfelt condolences to the Nigerian people and families affected by the attack.

“That the victims were targeted and killed in a place of worship demonstrates yet again the brutal nature of the terrorists whose sole aim is to threaten the peace and security of Nigerian citizens.
“Such ruthless attacks on innocent civilians only serve to strengthen our resolve towards meeting these threats in cooperation with our Nigerian and regional partners.”
