After his just concluded “Farewell crusade” in Lagos Nigeria, International and German born evangelist, Reinhard Bonnke is set to host another crusade in Calabar, the capital city of Cross River state.

Speaking about the proposed crusade, the Chairman of the organizing committee, Mr Lawrence Ekwok noted that the crusade which will be hosted in Calabar will be attended by over 2 million people from Calabar and neighbouring state in the south south region of the country who will throng down to the crusade venue to receive their healing and instant miracle.

Ekwok noted that the crusade will see the gathering of churches under the umbrella of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).

 

“It is important to note that this crusade which for several decades was commonly known all over the world as Reinhard Bonnke Gospel Crusade is about the biggest gospel crusade ever in the African Continent bringing with it diverse and multiplied positive effects wherever it is staged and these would be made manifest in the state during the crusade ”.

Ekwok who also is the president of the Pentecostal fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) in Calabar said Evangelist Bonnke’s visit this time will mark what he referred to as, ‘The biggest positive event that will take place in the last decade or so in the state considering the spiritual, economic and socio –political impact it will have on the state and its people”.

 

The crusade which Ekwok said will bring double grace to the state, will also be attended by Evangelist Bonnke’s successor, Evangelist Daniel Kolenda.

The PFN president in Calabar earlier noted that many other states were angling to host the crusade before Cross River was chosen.
