A 42-year old Artisan, identified as Mrs Bosede Shonibare has been arrested and charged before a Lagos court for allegedly giving out her 16-year old female apprentice to her male customer, Afeez Olufade for sex.
The incident which happened in Ikotun area of Lagos led to the arrest of Shonibare and Olufade and arraignment before a Magistrates court sitting in Ogba for conspiracy and sexual assault on the victim.
According to PM News report on the incident, it happened that the victim was told by Shonibare to go and collect some money (which Olufade never owed Shonibare) from Olufade but on getting to Olufade’s apartment, it turned to something else, as Olufade got the victim inside his room and bolted the door behind him.
Afterwards, he went unclad and reportedly threatened to kill the victim if she disobeyed his directive as his Penis already was erect.
He was said to have forced the victim to remove her clothes, forced her on the bed and attempted to penetrate her but could not because of the size of his manhood.
While this went on some neighbours who were suspicious of happenings in his room raised an alarm and eventually forced his door open, leading to the rescue of the victim.
After the matter was reported to the police at the Ikotun division, the suspects were then arrested and charged before the Ogba magistrates court.
Before the presiding Magistrate, Mrs Davis Abegunde, the suspects pleaded not guilty after which they were granted bail in the sum of N500,000 with two sureties in like sum.
They were remanded in prison custody pending the time their bail conditions will be perfected.
The matter was adjourned till 18th of September, 2017 for further hearing.
