Following the eventual admission of the boy diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, report as it just reached us from one of the residents of Ijegun where the boy was seen, says the boy is gradually getting medical attention but needs a better one.
According to Akindotun Akinyemi who seems to have led the move to help this boy’s (name unknown yet) health condition, it was said that presently the boy is receiving treatment, though doctors had said several tests will need to be done on him to ascertain further ailments he might be suffering from. However, the boy is said to still be in need of various relief materials to make him more comfortable and recover as quick as possible.
In DAILYFAMILY’s exclusive discussion with one of the good Samaritans who made the call for help and also witnessed the transition of the boy from the church gate up to when he was taken to the general hospital, we were able to gather that the boy has never been left without help.

According to his discussion with Dailyfamily.ng the good Samaritan who is simply identified as Akindotun Akinyem said;
“The ikotun Igando local government has decided to take up part of his bills and to show their commitment they dropped some provisions and pads to the social health worker in charge of his case yesterday.
Giving the present state of the boy’s health, Akinyemi said;
“The boy is still in pain obviously and is crying for his mum. We are however not too satisfied with the care he receives and will be glad if more NGOs can come onboard to help our boy.
“Finally we are concerned about the smooth transition of this boy from the hospital to a facility that can adequately care for him hence all suggestions and help will be gladly appreciated”.
Akinyemi then urged the general public to aid in whatsoever capacity individual can muster to save the boy’s life as it is evident from all indication that he needs help to regain his health.
