Following the ongoing plan of the United States of America to curb the flow of immigrant into the country, U.S. President Donald Trump administration is considering an intensive vetting process for women and children seeking to take refuge in the U.S.
A reliable source that revealed this to Reuters stated that security checks to adult men would be intensified if the proposal is approved.
According to the analysis of the proposal, the plan could slow down refugee admissions into the country even after the end of a 120-day ban.
At present, the refugees applying for admission into the United States go through a tough scrutinizing process of submitting to a biographic and biometric data collection against law enforcement and intelligence databases, depending on the perceived risk noticed in them.
Although the process has been a bit lenient on women and children causing them to go through a lower level screening.

However, the focus of screening for each Republican and Democratic administrations have been on adult men who tend to join militant groups such as al Qaeda and Islamic State in greater numbers than women.
The spokesperson of the Department of Homeland Security, Dave Lapan while being approached for a comment on the proposal declined to comment. He rather said the administration is “finalising security enhancement recommendations as part of the 120-day review.”
A White House spokeswoman also added that there were “no announcements at this time.”
Records in recent time indicated that the Trump administration has lowered the maximum number of refugees allowed into the U.S. in 2017 to 50,000 from the former 110,000 set by former President Barack Obama.
