Imprisoned Billionaire kingpin kidnapper, Chukwudumeje Onwuamadike best known as Evans has laded his brother-in-law into trouble as he has been arrested while trying to carry out Evans’s order, to demobilize some of the trucks he owned.
According to vanguard’s report, it was learnt that Evans gave an order to his brother-in-law and manager to demobilize the truck so that the Police wouldn’t be able to move it. Report gathered revealed that he gave this order so as to be able to settle his legal bill.
In carrying out this order as given, Police source revealed, while on a visit on Sunday to Ago Palace way where the trucks were packed that all the trucks which were suppose to be under the siege of the government had been demobilized.
Evan Manager and his Brother-in-law were said to have vandalized the truck, removing its brain box which automatically makes the truck immovable.

A Police source said: “We went to the park on Sunday with the intention of taking the trucks to Police custody for safekeeping, but when we tried starting the trucks we discovered that they had been vandalized.
We asked the security man at the park what happened to the trucks and he told us that the manager was the last person he saw tampering with them. We called the manager and requested where he was which he told us.
The Police source further revealed that when Evans manager was caught, he revealed that he was being sent by Evans from the Prison through his brother-in-law to make the trucks unmovable for the police who were about seizing it.

After the interrogation, the duo was arrested.
Responding to questions from Vanguard, Evans manager, Obiora said he is a truck driver who started working with Evans since August 2016 but got the invitation to step in as the new transport manager in May 2017 after some new fleets of trucks were bought.
Explaining the plan to use demobilize the truck so as to use the proceeds of it sales to settle Evans legal bill, Obiora said.
‘’After he was charged to court, one of his brother-in-laws, known as Okwuchukwu came to the garage to collect my phone number from the security man. He told me that Evans was in Kirikiri Prison, saying that he wanted me to come and see him. We went to the prison and met Evans. He told me that he wanted his in-law and I to help him demobilise all the trucks and prevent the Police from taking them away. He explained that his lawyer advised him to do all he could to stop the police from taking the trucks away from the garage so that they would be sold to raise money to pursue his case.

‘’When we got back to the garage, Evans’ in-law and I demobilized all the trucks. We removed the fuse and hid them. When the Police came for the trucks, they discovered that they have been vandalized. I was in my house when the Police came to arrest me. I have returned the fuse I took from the truck and I have explained to them that it was Evans who asked me to demobilise the trucks.”
Obi on the other side while being interrogated said Evans had ruined his life. He disclosed that he also is a Motor part dealer at Ladipo Auto Market but had to come to Evans aid after he was summoned by Evans pleading that he should help him locate his manager, adding that he needed the trucks to be out of the reach of the Police.
