The former Super Eagles player, Emmanuel Amuneke has been named by FIFA as a member of the technical study group for global event-Russia 2018 World Cup.
Amuneke who won the 1996 Olympic soccer gold in Atlanta was also the assisted Many Garba in 2013 to win the FIFA U17 World Cup in Dubai.
The former FC Barcelona winger and AFCON winner with Super Eagles in 1994 confirmed this on Thursday.
“I’ve been notified. We’re filing the papers and I must commend FIFA for recognising me with such responsibility”, Amuneke said.
Emmanuel Amuneke was the Coach of the all-conquering Golden Eaglets Team that won the 2015 U 17 World cup in Chile.
