From all indications, it seems President Buhari’s return is imminent after two notable visits from Nigeria was made alongside the third visit from his daughter and son-in-law who also checked on him in the Abuja House in London yesterday.
Just yesterday Nigerian popular Pentecostal pastor of the Redeemed Christian church of God, Pastor E A Adeboye paid him a visit, Nassarawa State Governor Tanko and his wife and President Buhari’s daughter, Safina and her husband.
Although the President Buhari’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adeshina was quoted in a Vanguard publication today to have said;
“President Buhari is expected to speak to Nigerians in a broadcast by 7 a.m on Monday, August 21, 2017. So it means if he is to speak on Monday, he should be in the country today or Sunday.
Leadership in its most recent publication today also quoted Adesina to have written that the president ‘is to’ return today.
A release reportedly written by Femi Adesina reads;
President Muhammadu Buhari is to return to the country later today, after receiving medical attention in London.
The President had left the country on May 7, this year, after handing over power to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, who has functioned as Acting President since then.
President Buhari is expected to speak to Nigerians in a broadcast by 7 a.m on Monday, August 21, 2017.
He thanks all Nigerians who have prayed ceaselessly for his recovery and well-being since the beginning of the health challenge.
