Workers rejoice as Governor gives 18-days holiday to Civil Servants

Civil servants in Imo state will have all course to rejoice this season as the executive governor of the state, Governor Rochas Okorocha has made an announcement of an 18-days holiday to all civil servant in the state.

In an statement made today, Governor Rochas has directed civil servants in the state to go home for the Christmas holiday today being Friday, December 22, 2017. They are to resume on Monday January 8, 2018.

In a statement released, by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Sam Onwuemeodo, workers on essential duties were the only ones exempted from this development.

With this development, workers now have enough time for themselves to celebrate with their families the joy of Christmas and all through the yuletide.
