Nollywood actress Ireti Doyle has advised against the habit of constantly revisiting failed relationships and past situations in search of closure, urging people to reflect on their own mistakes instead and simply move forward.

In a video shared online, the actress questioned why people feel the need to keep analysing past relationships, conversations and events rather than looking inward.
"What if you just keep it moving? What if you don't see closure? What if you don't sit down to analyse what was done, what was said, who did what, when and where?" she asked.
Ireti encouraged people to practise self-reflection, own up to their mistakes and learn from their experiences instead of repeatedly dwelling on the past.
"What if you just kept it moving? Not every situation deserves a post-mortem," she said.
She added that not every relationship needs to be revisited or endlessly picked apart, noting that some things are better left where they belong, in the past.
