* She urged people to stop projecting negativity and focus on their own paths.
Former Nollywood star Grace Charis Bassey is choosing peace and purpose over pressure as the 41 year old mum of one, who many fans first knew as Belinda Effa, recently opened up on Facebook about the hurtful comments suggesting she hurry up and get married so she doesn't 'expire.'

Addressing the critics directly in her Saturday post, she wrote: 'I Read Where Someone Said I Should Go and Get Married So I Don't Expire.'
She continued with three sharp questions, 'First: is it your expire? Second: the people that are married and divorced , will they also expire? Third: You know nothing about my life.'
Grace didn't stop there, 'Stop projecting your low esteem and negativity on others. If marriage is your priority. I am happy for you. Good luck.'
Grace joined the United States Navy and became a U.S. citizen in 2025, trading red carpets for service and discipline.
