Nigerian Woman Defends Siding With 'Side Chics'

Golden Ngozika sparked backlash on Facebook after publicly siding with a woman who married an already married man.

The controversy began after the new wife clashed online with the man's first wife, who had accused her husband of failing to pay their five children's school fees.

Ngozika took the second wife's side in the dispute.

Critics were quick to point out that this was not the first time Ngozika had done so, recalling that she had also defended Judy Austin after actor Yul Edochie married her as a second wife.

Rather than back down, Ngozika responded with a lengthy post defending her position and making clear she has no plans to change it.

"If you like be a home builder or home breaker is none of my business because I Golden will Neva stand against anyone happiness," she wrote.

She went on to address her critics directly, telling them not to expect her to condemn other women for choices men make.

"So if you are following me don't expect me to start insulting my fellow woman over a man that chooses her or another," she said.

Ngozika added a pointed remark suggesting even her own marriage was not immune to outside interest.

"Even as I type my husband side check (sic) Dey here they read my comment," she wrote.

In the caption accompanying her post, she offered blunt advice to other women.

"If another woman husband will give you more peace snatch him without looking back," she added.
