See Prophet Who Won't Die, Only Disappear When His Work Is Done

Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanemere, popularly known as Odumeje, has told his followers not to bother planning his funeral, because he says he will never die.

The controversial cleric made the remarks during a lively moment with his congregation.

He declared that he would not die but would disappear once he had completed his assignment on earth. “I can never die. The only thing I will do when I’m done with my job, I will disappear,” he said.

He had earlier questioned how anyone could celebrate him after death. “You can never celebrate me when I am dead. Who would go and put their foot in my burial?” he asked, repeatedly calling on his followers and asking whether they could see him.

He insisted he would not be available for a conventional burial, adding, “Don’t come and plan a burial for me.”

His words drew enthusiastic reactions from the congregation, who responded with shouts and chants as he continued his energetic performance.

Odumeje also described himself in grand terms, calling himself a lion and someone destined to become a star.

The crowd echoed his words.
