Nigerian rapper Speed Darlington, born Darlington Okoye, has ignited conversation on social media after sharing his candid views on beauty, body size, and attractiveness in a post on his Instagram page.

In the post, the controversial entertainer argued that truly good-looking people are rare, claiming that out of every hundred individuals, only two meet his standard of attractive appearance. He further observed that most of the good-looking people he encounters tend to be teenagers.
"Out of 100, only 2 look good. Before you see good-looking one, is a (na) teenager."
Taking aim at body weight, Darlington drew a pointed comparison between women in Nigeria and those at his current location in New York, suggesting that women back home are slimmer, while those where he currently resides are largely overweight, and also unresponsive when approached.
"In my country, you call them, they come and they are not fat. Here, they're fat. On top say dem fat, if you call them, they don't come."
The musician went on to broaden his definition of beauty beyond skin tone, stating that factors such as body size and body shape are equally important considerations, challenging the notion that light skin alone equals attractiveness.
"There is more to beauty than skin colour, there is body size, body shape. You can be light-skinned and ugly."
