A Nigerian man, Frank, has broken his silence after a video of him taking an oath to die if he ever cheats on his wife went viral online.

The drama began after his wife, Ezinne Frank Nwanorue, accused him of cheating on her regularly while she was away from Nigeria.
She publicly called him a "he-goat" and said she would only help him relocate to join her in Canada if he swore an oath of faithfulness.
Ezinne also stirred controversy after appearing to celebrate the recent death of her mother-in-law, saying the woman had made her life difficult.
Frank eventually agreed to take the oath on camera, and his wife shared the video widely, sparking reactions from social media users across the world.
Taking to Facebook, Frank addressed the backlash, some of which mocked him for agreeing to the pact.
He wrote, ‘Happy new week. A lot of people all over the world will not understand, some call me mumu man, some call me foolish man, some said they can't do it, pls don't forget this is my family not ur family.
‘I want the happiness of my home and I will do anything to keep my marriage in peace and love, same people calling u name, will still blame u tomorrow if ur fail, marriage is a blessing and gift from God, don't allow proud to kill ur marriage because 99% of divorcee today are regretting because of their mistake.’
He went on to insist that there was no deeper conflict between him and his wife beyond the issue of temptation.
‘Me and my wife have no issue, just temptation, as a man u have to stand and over come it, thanks be to God Almighty for everything. I love my lovely wife and my family,’ he wrote.
