The First Annual ‘Beauty Walk 4 Wellness’ and Health organized by Beauty in Black Foundation was held from the SUBEB Complex Maryland to Police College Ikeja, Lagos, on the 23rd of December, 2017.

The Health and Fitness exercise was part of the Foundation’s mission to promote sound public health through health awareness and advocacy on the health hazard of Skin Bleaching.

The 2-Kilometer Road Walk 4 Beauty–2017 People of Color, the First Annual Health Awareness was a better way end the year.

Dailyfamily.ng gathered that the campaign featured a combination of Health, Fitness and Funfair activities. The health walk was supported by the Lagos State Ministry of Health through the provision of Lagos State Ambulance (LASAMBUS) to ensure health safety and emergency response. The Lagos State Traffic Management Agency (LASTMA) also led the crowd to ensure orderly movement and proper traffic control.

A leading healthcare organization MECURE Healthcare Services Limited partnered with Beauty in Black Foundation to conduct free eye screening during the event.
The program was supported by the Lagos State Ministry of Health, WEMA Bank, Images Theatre, Witzing Group and other partners.
