An account of Jonah in the bible tells us how he was swallowed by a Fish and lived in its belly for three days after fleeing from the presence of the Lord to Tarshish because he refused to go Nineveh to Preach the Gospel of God.

Now, Imagine Jonah was a husband coming back home after 3 days of absence – no phone call, nothing only to tell his wife he was swallowed by a fish and vomited after 3 days!! Just imagine how that sounded.
The wife will feel like breaking his head. “Swallowed by fish ke? Are you telling a baby? What an insult? Lying to me as if I don’t have any sense? Which fish, mackerel or tilapia”? Abegi!
Even If you reported the issue to a pastor, even the pastor will call him aside and say, brother Jonah, why not pray against lying spirits? Neighbors will shout “ahh! madam, it has happened, just take heart. That is a man for you You don’t understand? The fish is another womannnnn”
So, as a wife, you need to trust your husband dearly. And you husband, always create that atmosphere for your wife to be able to vouch for your integrity to the marital vows.
