It was a celebration gallon among the people of Akinyele Constituency 2 as the lawmaker representing them in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Bolaji Saheed Badmus distributed empowerment tools worth millions of naira.
The event took place at Community High School, Ajibade-Alabata Off Moniya-Iseyin Road, Ibadan, Oyo state.
Items distributed by Hon. Badmus included motorcylcles, deep freezers, grinding machines, sewing machines, hair dryers, generators, chemical sprayers, herbicides, vulcanizing machine, shoe fling machines, coolers, clippers, gas cookers and cutlasses.
Hon. Badmus said he believes in teaching people how to fish rather than give them fish, added that the tools are to empower and make his constituents self-reliant.
The event was attended by royal fathers, Oyo state Deputy speaker of the House, Barr. Wasiu Musah and members of the house.
