Mikel Obi’s Father Released By Kidnappers (Full Details)
The father of Nigeria’s Super Eagles Captain, Mikel Obi has been released by kidnappers barely a week after he was kidnapped.

Recall that Pa Michael Obi was abducted along with his driver by kidnappers on the 29th of June 2018 and a ransom of 10 million Naira was requested for his release.
Reports reveal that the Sexagenarian was abducted while on his way from Jos, Plateau on the Enugu-Makurdi road.
His release was confirmed by a statement released by Police Public Relations Officer of the Enugu State Police Command; Ebere Amaraizu, he said: “Michael Obi, the father of the Super Eagles captain, has regained his freedom.”
Reports have it that the Super Eagles striker paid the ransom of 10 million Naira to secure the release of his father.
Pa Michael Obi was however released without sustaining any injury.
