Former Presidential candidate of National Action Council (NAC,) Dr.Olapade Agoro has called on the federal government and the Inspector General of Police to investigate the activities of the Osun State Police Command headed by Mr. Fimihan Adeoye
Dr. Agoro has accused the command of infringing his fundamental human Right as well as committing various criminal acts, adding that the activities of Mr. Adeoye have constituted nuisance to the society.
The petition of Dr. Agoro to the Inspector General of Police and the Federal Government was sent to media offices and internet.
Efforts to reach the police spokesman of the state police Command were fruitless.
According to the petition ,”in seeming terror movie story, Mr. Fimihan Adeoye the Commissioner of Policeey Osun State Police Commandad more than 30 days ago particularly since THE PUNCH newspaper edition of Tuesday, September 19, 2017, published a story of “ Bribe –collecting policemen handcuff passenger to vehicle after driver escaped” constituted himself a nuisance value laying criminal ambush not only on Olapade Agoro Estate Apata Ibadan, housing institutions among others Merciful Christ Church Inc. Olapade Agoro Leaders High School, and in the process caught and raped behind the Church building one 15-year-old girl named Sarah and also another policeman attempting to rape another woman named Tawakalitu who ran to safety when the huge policeman was about undressing.
All these despite the pendency of: (i)Fundamental Right Enforcement Suit No: FHC/OS/CS/43/2017 AGORO VS FIMIHAN ADEOYE Anr. before Federal High Court Osogbo slated to come up November 23 2017 and also (ii) SUIT NO, CV/3033/17 AGORO VS FIMIHAN ADEOYE & IGP before Court 36 High Court Of Justice FCT Abuja slated to come up December 7 2017. ” The usual terrorizing, dastardly and deadly acts of the Osun State policemen sent on high substantial and wastefully cost to my Apata Ibadan Estate is to lay an ambush on Sundays at the entrance of Merciful Christ Church thus sending members into freight and preventing them from coming to Church. The Church doors have since been locked permanently. On weekdays they usually drive their van to block the gate into my estate which sent my wife to pack out staying with Pastor Olumide Shitta her brother and consequently sent my neighbours into fear and suspicion. Also, they made it their diabolical economic destroying duty going to my Olapade Agoro Leaders High School to harassingly ask of my where about from Mr. Babatunde the School Principal and with resultant effect of sending the students into freight currently and forcefully reducing their enrolled numbers to 40 from the previous 120.
One would have also expected Mr. Fimihan Adeoye a supposed law enforcement officer to have constituted himself to a noticeable respecter of the Institution of Justice Enforcement i.e the Courts of Justice in view of the two matters currently pending in courts.
