A 13-year-old boy, Chijioke Junior lost his life untimely when his father, Chief Chijioke Uwah who was driving tried to safe an unguarded infant on the road.

The family was on their way to Enugu from Abuja after a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) convention on the 15th of January 2017 when the accident took place.
As they got to Kogi State, Chief Chijioke was speeding when he noticed the unguarded infant on the road and while trying to avoid the child, the car somersaulted and Junior was thrown out of the car through the window and died.
Chief Chijioke also sustained a head injury but the rest of the family came off the car with no scratch.

13-year-old Chijioke Junior is being laid to rest today, January 17, 2018, at their hometown in Ebonyi state.
