Deji Tinubu burial rite finalizes today
The final burial rite for late Deji Tinubu, the Special Adviser to Lagos State Governor Akinwunmi Ambode on Commerce and Industry kicked off yesterday Janaury 29, with a lying-in-state ceremony and continued 10am today with the funeral service.
The Redeemed Christian Church of God, City of David, Victoria Island Lagos host the funeral service which had in attendance Governor Ambode, his Wife Bolanle and top government functionaries from the state.
The wife of the deceased Oluwayemisi had the front pew seat to herself and the children Moyo and Tami. A brother to the deceased who also is the GMD of Oando, Wale Tinubu, brother to the deceased and other family members.

The late Tinubu being a football enthusiast also had in attendance, former Super Eagles player, Ike Shorounmu, the Publisher of Ovation Magazine publisher, Dele Momodu, and other guests, and friends of the family.
Pastor Siju Oluyomade presided over the service which started at about 10:00 a.m.
While giving his sermon, Pastor Oluyomade spoke well of Deji, who he said supported the church during his lifetime. The Pastor’s wife, Mrs Oluyomade also spoke well of Deji’s kind gesture.
