It was an unusual gathering of family and well-wishers at the Church Solemnization in Akera area of Lagos State on Thursday, November 9, 2017, as a Lagos based young man, Abiodun Ajani walked the aisle with his wife, Taiwo Dorcas Ajani.

The solemnization ceremony which took place at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Open Heavens Parish, Lagos Province 64 witnessed the attendance of several officiating pastors from different ministries, including renowned, international family coach, Pastor Bisi Adewale who ministered to the newlyweds on the theme, ‘five cornerstones of a successful marriage’.
In his discharge of the word, Pastor Adewale led the newlyweds into what makes a marriage work. He said:
“It’s not your beauty and handsomeness that makes a marriage work”.
Further speaking, he said the newly wedded couple shouldn’t leave God out of their calculations as He is the center of every marriage.

He also said:
“Responsibility also makes a marriage work. A responsible man and woman will return home after closing from work and will obey the scriptures saying; obey your husband, love your wife”.
In the course of his teaching, He said sensitivity was a good way to know one’s spouse‘s joy buttons.
He further added that many people were not responsible because they were not sensitive to their spouse’s emotional reactions.
Other secrets of a great marriage that Pastor Adewale mentioned during his teaching were protection, showing love to your spouse, appreciation, communication and provision.
Speaking to exclusively to DAILYFAMILY, the elated Groom said that the basic preparation any intending couple should make is to first seek knowledge, which he and his new wife sought for in the course of their marriage preparation.
