A grandmother, her two grandchildren were crushed to death and many others injured by a truck which lost control into a roadside market in Ondo State on Sunday, January 28, 2018.

Two other people apart from the grandmother and her grandchildren also lost their lives in the fatal accident.
The accident occurred at Akungba-Akoko, Akoko South-West Local Government Area of Ondo state.
According to an eyewitness, the truck supposed to be coming from Ikare-Akoko lost control as the driver was trying to avoid a car that is close to the market.
Report also has it that several traders and passersby who were also severely injured in the accident were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and the Nigeria Police were also seen at the scene of the accident to put the situation under control.
