#FamilyKitchen: How to Make Delicious Egg Roll at Home

Nigerian Egg Roll is one of the favourite snacks of most people and you can make this and enjoy it in the convenience of your home.

Egg Roll is cheap and also easy to make. It is rich in taste and also very nutritious.

Recipe for Making Egg Roll:

Flour – 2 Cups (250g)
Egg (1) – beaten
Baking powder- 1 tsp
Salt- 1/4 tsp
Nutmeg-.1/2 tsp
Butter- 2 tsp
Boiled Eggs – 6
Sugar- 2 1/2 to 3tsp
Water- 8- 9 tsp

You can add milk if you desire to (either liquid or powder that is mixed with water)

How to make egg roll:
Mix the Flour, Baking powder, Salt, Sugar and Nutmeg together in a bowl.

Make the Margarine blend into the flour with your fingers until it’s crumbly.

Add the beaten egg and mix together. The dough should look dry at this point.

Start adding water a little at a time and work the dough until dough is soft/stiff and doable.

Work the dough for about a minute then cover it and let it rest for about 15 to 20 minutes.

Work the dough again for a couple of seconds to a minute and divide it into 6.

Wrap each of the dough around each Egg tightly. (if the egg is not firmly covered with the flour, it will burst open when frying).

Fry on a medium heat turning over and over again until it’s golden brown. (DEEP FRYING)
