Soldiers, Police Clash Claims 7-year-old Girl’s Life (Graphic Images)
Tragedy struck a family after their 7-year-old daughter was hit by a stray bullet from a clash between soldiers and police in Maiduguri.
According to reports, Janada Yamta was asleep in her Maiduguri home when her parents heard her scream.
The deceased was not so lucky has she died on her way to the hospital.
Reports had it that there had been a clash between some army personnel and men of the CTU.
The argument started when army officers on mufti tried entering a trailer park to go drinking but stopped by the police stationed at the gate of the trailer park on the night of Sunday, 23rd June.
In the clash, shots were fired which left a police officer, Sergeant Usman dead and two orders badly injured.
According to an eyewitness, the army officers were manhandled badly by the police officers even after identifying themselves.
