LAGOS SINGLES & MARRIED CONFERENCE 2019: Bisi Adewale Hosts Tope Alabi
The renowned marriage and family minister and the president of Family Booster Ministry, Pastor Bisi Adewale and his wife Pastor Yomi Adewale received the famous Yoruba gospel singer, Evangelist Tope Alabi and her husband Soji Alabi yesterday (Thursday 12th September 2019) at the pre-conference meeting held at Ocean Suit Hotel, Gbagada Lagos.
The meeting was organised to share the vision and mandate of the ministry with their guest (Tope Alabi), in preparation for this year Lagos Singles and Married Conference tagged “Marriage 5-5-5”.
Tope Alabi will be the guest minister in song for this year Lagos Singles and Married Conference.
Pastor Bisi Adewale in his remark said the purpose of organising the annual conference is not for making money but for making impact.
“Most times people organises such programs to make money. I remember after one of the conference, a pastor friend called me and said; Pastor Bisi, you must have make a lot of money from this conference.
I simply replied him that you are right. Then he asked, like how much have you make? I said to him that I won’t tell you, but he kept asking me and I reply him that I have make N80,000. That is from a program that cost about five million naira as at that period.
He said that’s a failure. I told him, you don’t understand. If you understand you will know that it’s a success.
The conference is not a business venture, but an impact venture to bless lives.”
He also stated the reason for choosing Tope Alabi as the guest minister in song for this year conference.
“Not too long before your arrival to this meeting one of the journalists in the house asked me the reason for bringing a celebrity to the conference and I answered her that the celebrity (Tope Alabi) we are bringing is a celebrity of Jesus that will affect the homes of many people including other celebrities.
The conference is not a musical concert but a conference to make impact in the lives of people and that’s the reason for bringing Tope Alabi on board. Bringing Tope Alabi has a very deep meaning to us and that’s why we are bringing her and her husband, Soji Alabi.”
Pastor Bisi facing Tope Alabi’s husband, Soji Alabi said “We want to see you. Tell us what has been helping your marriage. Not just about music but in word as well.
Tope Alabi’s husband, Evangelist Soji Alabi in his word appreciate the ministry for inviting them and also revealed how Pastor Bisi has been their mentor and how his books have been helping their marriage.
“I and my wife has been following pastor Bisi Adewale for long even before meeting with him and his books have been helpful”
Soji Alabi also seized the opportunity to appreciate his wife. He said “This woman (Tope Alabi) is wonderful and amazing. I don’t know how to buy things, but sometimes when I get to my wardrobe, I will be wondering how the clothes get there without my notice”
He further added “She is someone that’s very submissive to the core. When people see Tope Alabi they always says to themselves ‘Woman yi ma buru gan’ but she’s not like that. She has been an encouragement to me.
I told her last week that if I don’t marry you I don’t know where I will be by now. So seeing pastor and his wife (Pastor Bisi and Yomi Adewale), ahead of us, it encourages us that we can still do better.
I pray that God will help us to do the program together in His own will. Thank you.”
Tope Alabi in her remark took time to appreciate her host, Pastor Bisi and Yomi Adewale and everyone in the meeting.
She also confirmed her husband’s speech that Pastor Bisi and Yomi Adewale are their mentors as said. “My husband is right, but I will also like to say that we have been following you for a long time.
We have been watching them for a while to know if they are getting it right or not. At times I look and his wife and see how supportive she has been. Although this suppose to be a secret but I just have to say it.
The day I came for the ministers’ dinner was the day I actually got closer to her. I watched her closely. This is because I want to feel her not just seeing her face but I want to feel her in spirit. One thing I draw from her and which I do as well is that she’s so respectful.
By the grace of God, I will be live at the program.”
Tope Alabi also used the opportunity to invite all her fans to the conference and to come and celebrate with her as that day happens to be her birthday anniversary.
“I am inviting all my fans to the conference and also to mark my birthday anniversary. That’s where am taking my cake to. Tell someone to tell someone to tell someone and someone to tell someone. See you there!”
The wife of the host Pastor, Mrs. Yomi Adewale during her opening speech stated the mandate of the ministry (Family Booster Ministry) as she said “20 years ago the Lord called His son Pastor Bisi Adewale and this year September 9th, the ministry clock 20 years to the glory of God.
The mandate of the ministry is to remould, repair, rejuvenate and to restore all dilapidated homes. To bring sons and daughters of God together in holy matrimony.
The one that’s always on our mind is to bring people out of the dungeon of ignorance into the wisdom of divinity and put the to printers of divorce bills out of business forever.”
The pre-conference meeting was later brought to an end with prayers from Pastor Akintunwa.
