Kaduna State workers have been confirmed not to have joined other states of the federation in the nationwide seven days warning strike staged by the Nigerian Labour Congress.

According to News Agency of Nigeria reports, offices in Kaduna state have remained open and normal activities are also going on in the state despite the strike.
Reports have it that workers were busy in their duty posts like schools, the Central Bank, hospitals and other public sectors.
Speaking with NAN Correspondent, a nurse at Barau Dikko Hospital explained that there was no formal information about the strike as they only got to know in the news. She said:
“We only heard of the strike order in the media, there has been no formal notice yet either from the Nigeria Labour Congress or our union, the nurses union, but we are waiting.’’
However, the local union officers in the state are planning to meet so as to discuss joining the strike and some NLC Officials were seen meeting at the secretariat over the matter.
