There are many ways to handle low self-esteem without allowing it to turn you into a social miscreant. Some of these are:

  1. ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT CHRIST LOVES YOU

One thing that will help you greatly is to always remember that Jesus loves you so greatly he died for you; whosoever rejects you does not really matter; you have a standing lover.

  1. ACCEPT YOURSELF

Stop comparing yourself with others; accept yourself. Definitely, someone will be taller than you are; others will be shorter. You are what God created you to be. You don’t need more pubic hair; you don’t need penis enlargement, love and accept your person.

  1. DEAL WITH DYSFUNCTIONAL THINKING

“I am worthless”, “nobody loves me”, “I can’t make it”. These thoughts are bad. They won’t help you at all.

  1. HAVE GOOD THOUGHTS

Develop good and positive thought. Think: “I am beautiful and wonderfully made”, “Jesus loves me”, “I will make it”, “I look nice”

  1. KNOW THAT FAILURE IS NOT FINAL

Failure is one thing that does not make you a failure, try again. Today, there are many successful persons who failed in one area or the other before trying again. Don’t allow failure to affect your self-esteem.

  1. KNOW THAT YOU CANNOT BE GOOD IN EVERYTHING

Stop feeling bad for not being good at sports. Celebrate the areas you are good at.

  1. DISCOVER YOUR OWN PURPOSE AND CELEBRATE IT

Know your purpose and be the best at it. Stop envying others who are good at what they do.

  1. KNOW THAT NOT EVERYBODY WILL LIKE YOU

Not everybody will like you; stop feeling bad about people who do not really fancy you.

  1. START YOUR DAY ON A HIGH NOTE

Starting your day with worship, prayer and the word of God will help you a lot to put your mind in the right mood to be the person you should be.

  1. FLEE FROM SIN

Sin kills self-esteem. It brings fear, guilt, and depression. Run from sin and walk in righteousness which brings liberty and liberate from depression.
